NPE Booth #W3763 Emerson.com/Branson Tarick W. – Ultrasonic Welding Expert Sophie M. – Expert in Applications Development Central Chiller Uses New Control To Maximize Cooling, Minimize Energy Use Thermal Care Inc. | Booth W3163 Thermal Care (Booth W3163) is updat- ing its central chiller control systems with a new technology that conঞnuous- ly calculates the lowest allowable refrig- erant pressure for any combinaঞon of operaঞng condiঞons in order to maxi- mize energy savings and provide more stable and smooth refrigerant pressure control, especially under varying load and condenser inlet temperatures. Dynamic Li[ control technology also adds direct control of remote condenser fans or condenser water regulaঞng valves for added savings. According to Thermal Care, customers will see an av- erage 25% reducঞon on part-load total chiller energy use at a 50° F set point. thermalcare.com | (847) 966-2260 Loss-in-Weight Feeder Targets Compound and Masterbatch Industries Schenck Process | Booth W2683 Opঞmized design, flexible hopper walls and flexible installaঞon opঞons reportedly make the ProFlex C a tailored soluঞon for the compound and masterbatch industries. The ProFlex C feeding system is used for the conঞnuous feeding of bulk materials such as powder, granu- lates, pellets or fibers. With ProFlex C 500, 3000 and 6000, Schenck Process offers three feeder siz- es with a total of five extension hoppers. All ProFlex models have extension hop- pers which are easy to clean and have an adaptable, space- saving design that enables opঞmum in- stallaঞon in exisঞng and new producঞon plants. The off-center feeder arrange- ment allows up to eight feeders with close-fiমng discharge helixes and noz- zles to be used. The drive and feeder setup can be customized during assembly. For maxi- mum flexibility, the direcঞon of the dis- charge side can be easily changed at any ঞme. Schenck Process is now offering the choice between different discharge lengths as standard. Only two highly ac- cessible sides are needed for service work. Various feed hoppers, gear reduc- ers, helixes and nozzles are available for adaptaঞon to the special properঞes of bulk materials. All models are available as loss-in- weight feeders and volumetric feeders. schenckprocess.com | (816) 891-9300 Hot-Runner System Has Screw-In Nozzle for Leak Protecঞon HASCO | Booth S26003 The new, fully assembled and wired hot run- ner system H4016/ supplements Hasco's ex- tensive range of ready-to-install systems and hot halves. Hasco says that the robust, form- fit connecঞon between the hot runner mani- fold and the screw-in nozzle guarantees leak- free operaঞon and significantly facilitates the mounঞng and removal of the system as a whole in the injecঞon mold. The connector cables for the individual nozzles and the hot runner pass through indi- vidually configured cable ducts to the connec- ঞon box where they are wired up according to the customer's specificaঞons. Hasco says that this saves the moldmaker or injecঞon molder from having to connect up the system and ensures a smooth start to producঞon. The correct allocaঞon of the zones to the manifold heaঞng units and nozzles is documented on a dimension sheet and in a special test report. The system layout facilitates mounঞng and removal and prevents any damage to the hot runner system when the mold is being ser- viced. Aachment points on the manifold mean that it can be readily li[ed out of the cavity, avoiding any distorঞon of the system when it is ঞlted during installaঞon or removal. hasco.com | (877) 427-2662 53
