WEDNESDAY NPE 2018 : THE PLASTICS SHOW SHOW DAILY NPE2018 PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY Conformal Cooling Technology Maximizes Cooling Efficiency Milacron Booth including Cimcool, DME, Mold-Masters and Uniloy | Booth W2703 TruCool Conformal Cooling from DME is designed to maximize cooling efficiency through addiঞve metal manufacturing. This line of conformal cooling products has com- plex cooling channels conforming to the part-surface geometry. DME says the line provides greater overall cooling coverage with even distribuঞon while maintaining a targeted, consistent temperature and reduc- ing cycle ঞmes by as much as 60 percent. DME announces three new products and services to the TruCool product and services line. First, DME Design Services builds on decades of moldmaking, mold design, ther- mal analysis and conformal channel design to provide customers with the most reliable, Compression Blow Forming Makes an Appearance at NPE2018 Sacmi | Booths S10051, W363 Sacmi of Italy is exhibiঞng its unique high-volume, rotary compression-blow forming (CBF) system. This machine conঞnuously extrudes "hockey-puck" blanks that are sliced off and placed in compression molds to produce preforms, which are then blown into finished boles. CBF produces a precision-molded neck, as does injecঞon-blow, but without any gate mark on the bole. In addiঞon, the boles have greatly reduced melt stresses and more uniform weights between caviঞes, while the system offers substanঞal energy savings. | 390542607111 Collaboraঞve Robots: Going Mainstream? Yushin America Inc. | Booth W2173 Tesঞmony to the growing interest in so-called "collaboraঞve" robots (or "cobots") for plasঞcs processing is the first model from Yushin America, thanks to a new exclusive distribuঞon agree- ment with Producঞve Roboঞcs, Carpinteria, California. Yushin, a major supplier of linear robots and sprue pickers for injecঞon molding, is now supplying the OB-7 seven-axis cobot that Producঞve Roboঞcs launched last year. It is suited to loading, unloading, part removal, packaging, palleঞzing, QC measuring, tesঞng and inspecঞon. The seventh axis gives the OB-7 the dexterity to reach around objects in a 360-degree rotaঞon. On display in the Yushin booth and elsewhere at the show, the OB-7 has an 11-lb payload capacity and 1-m reach with 0.1-mm accuracy. It is available on a rolling stand. Like others of its ilk, it requires no programming, as it "learns" by the lead- through teaching method. Yushin says the OB-7 is fully compli- ant with ISO 10218-1 and is equipped with safety sensors that make the collaboraঞve robot safe to work side by side with people. | (401) 463-1800 robust and efficient mold design. Second, DME says its new cooling a[ermarket ser- vices and equipment provide the ulঞmate cooling channel cleaning, diagnosঞcs and maintenance. A[ermarket services and maintenance have the ability to trouble- shoot, clean and descale both convenঞonal and conformal cooling water channels to maximize the lifespan and efficiency of intri- cate conformal and convenঞonal cooling through a closed-loop, computer-controlled, automated process. Third, DME announces its new line of TruCool "standard" confor- mal-cooled components, which includes core pins, gates and sprue bushings. | (513) 536-200 68
