TUESDAY N PE 2 018 M AY 8 TH NPE2018 PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY jomarcorp.com info@jomarcorp.com 609-646-8000 Jomar successfully launched the IntelliDrive TM series of injection blow molding machines to combine the best of electric and hydraulic technologies. And has been adding new models ever since. The 135 is the latest to gain this distinction and all of these advantages (plus more): • Energy savings of up to 50%* • Faster dry cycle times • Longer life for your molds • Less hydraulic oil usage (up to 40% less) • Less cooling water usage • Less noise and less vibration • 30 month warranty on hydraulic components (ask us for full details) *Energy consumption reduction contingent upon machine model, container specification, and material process. GET MORE PRODUCTION FOR LESS WITH THE NEW JOMAR INTELLIDRIVE 135! Smarter injection blow molding. More production. Lower costs. JOMAR EXPANDS INTELLIDRIVE TO THE 135 Visit us in South Hall, Level 1, Booth S12077 Injecঞon Process Monitoring & Control Adds Mulঞ-Component Molding, Part-Quality Predicঞon Kistler Instrument Corporaঞon | Booth W7145 The Kistler Group is demonstraঞng a wide range of modular funcঞonaliঞes for the new- est version (2.1.0) of ComoNeo, its pro- cess-monitoring and control system for injec- ঞon molding that now includes integrated part-quality predicঞon. Since its iniঞal launch three years ago, the ComoNeo system has conঞnued to evolve. Based on measurement of cavity pressure, it controls the switchover point from speed to pressure control in mold filling within each cycle, analyzing the difference between cur- rent and reference pressure curves. The swi- tchover point can be set manually or deter- mined automaঞcally by the system through analyzing a sequence of five test cycles. More and more, injecঞon molders are con- fronted with new, complex tasks, such as mulঞ-component systems with complex pro- cess technology, for example, in lightweight composites for the automoঞve and aero- space industries. To support such applica- ঞons, ComoNeo can also control mulঞ- component and RTM processes as of version 2.1.0. Two or more processes, depending on the component, would previously have to be recorded and evaluated separately. With ComoNeo 2.1.0 it is possible to monitor up to four components in various tool technologies. ComoNeo now also offers a model-based predicঞon of part quality based on specified tolerance limits. The integrated so[ware cal- culates the opঞmal process parameters to ensure higher quality, especially in demand- ing applicaঞons. In addiঞon to predicঞng producঞon quality, all collected data can be stored in the central ComoDataCenter database for further analysis. ComoNeo also controls the transfer of proven tool configuraঞons to other machines, as well as balancing the hot runner in mulঞ-cavity molds. To accomplish the laer, ComoNeo now incorporates the OPC-UA interface that is becoming the standard for Industry 4.0 machine-to- machine data connecঞvity. kistler.com | (248) 668-6824 Conformal Cooling Product Lines for Injecঞon Molding and Blow Molding HTS Internaঞonal Corp. | Booth S23153 HTS, Booth S23153, features its conformal cooling iTherm product lines for injecঞon molding and blow molding in the 3D Prinঞng Zone. Specifically, HTS displays custom and standard designs for custom cores and caviঞes, gate inserts, neck inserts, water supply plates, sprue bushings and hot runner manifolds. Conformal cooling is a design approach for improving mold and die producঞvity that can save 10-50%+ on cycle ঞme, in addiঞon to quality benefits and improved tooling durability. HTS specializes in conformal cooling products and technology, pro- ducing its iTherm components through a proprietary metal addiঞve manufacturing process. Components are typically supplied based on an a la carte basis but an innovaঞve purchasing plan for OEMs and tooling owners based on a simple, project engineering fee is showcased, the company says. HTS offers unique warranঞes on its technology, including pay-for-performance opঞons. hts-ic.com | (865) 410-8880 71
