Commiee on Equipment Staঞsঞcs PLASTICS Commiee on Equipment Staঞsঞcs (CES) benchmarks parঞcipant operaঞons with current markeঞng informaঞon on equipment orders and shipments for all major sectors of the industry. Parঞcipaঞng companies are responsible for submiমng their monthly or quarterly new sales orders and shipments in units and values to Veris Consulঞng, a third-party fiduciary, via the PLASTICS CES website. In addiঞon to the monthly reports that CES produces with this data, CES publishes a quarterly Cross Sector Analysis (CSA) report that correlates CES data with general macroeconomic data. The CSA is provided to CES members at no charge. Machinery Safety Standards Commiee As an accredited standards developer of American Naঞonal Standards, PLASTICS, through this Machinery Safety Standards Commiee, diligently pursues acঞviঞes on behalf of the plasঞcs industry under the procedures that the American Naঞonal Standards Insঞtute has established, and invites greater industry parঞcipaঞon to achieve mutually beneficial objecঞves. Material Suppliers Council The Material Suppliers Council is the hub for all resin, addiঞve, colorant and other material suppliers. Flexible Vinyl Products Division While PLASTICS represents the plasঞcs industry from resin to arঞcles, there is a focus on Vinyl. As a versaঞle, safe and long-lasঞng material we see this Flexible Vinyl Zone as an opportunity to present innovaঞve ideas and products to the marketplace. The Flexible Vinyl Products Division (FVPD) works for the benefit of all companies within the flexible vinyl industry, regardless of end-market applicaঞon. Flexible (plasঞcized) vinyl includes both plasঞsol (liquids) and solid (pellets, cubes, powers, etc.) materials. Each year the FVPD presents the Vinyl Compounders Conference. This technical conference brings together the heart of the industry. Our program includes presentaঞons on technical innovaঞon, updates on business and markets and as always, a strong emphasis on regulatory issues that directly affect the vinyl industry. Our purpose is to provide the latest informaঞon backed by solid science. 1425 K Street, Suite 500 • Washington, DC 20005 USA • npe@plasঞ • plasঞ
